Microgrid Solar created 20 jobs in 2012, with more planned throughout 2013 St Louis based solar energy company is moving forward on plans to expand across the Midwest.

download-pressFollowing the creation of 20 new jobs in Missouri last year, Microgrid Solar has announced a further 40+ positions to be filled in 2013 at the company’s headquarters in St. Louis, MO, as well as Kansas City and beyond. Welcoming today’s announcement, Rick Hunter, Microgrid’s CEO said, “We are proud to be creating these jobs and doing our part to boost the local economy. Solar is booming in Missouri and jobs are one of many benefits to the state..”

The company is currently looking to fill a variety of roles in sales, IT, operations, and more. The growth in staff will help enable Microgrid to pursue its plans to establish offices in other Midwest markets with strong potential for Solar PV growth.
