Microgrid to Teach Solar Sales Course

During the last week of October 2011,  Microgrid’s Steve O’Rourke will teach a 5-day intensive course on Solar through St. Louis Community College. The course will focus on the business/financial case for solar photovoltaics (PV) as well as provide some of the technical basics. This course is for anyone who is interested in promoting solar as an extension of their business, including electricians, architects, home builders, and engineers. If you plan to sell solar, this course will provide you with a solid understanding of why solar is a smart investment, and prepare eligible applicants for the NABCEP PV Technical Sales Certification Exam.

Steve is a trained consultant with expertise in a broad base of sustainability fields, including renewables and efficiency. In recent years, Steve has developed expertise in organizational sustainability, and has consulted for both businesses and non-profit organizations. Steve’s passion for renewable energy and energy efficiency is apparent in the time he devotes to speaking engagements with government, academic, and consumer groups.
