New Nonprofit Program

Announcing Microgrid’s Nonprofit Solar Partnership Program Announcing Microgrid's Non-Profit Partnership Program for Solar

Nonprofit Institutions interested in having solar electric systems installed at their facilities are typically unable to take advantage of federal incentives that can reduce the costs by over 50%. Microgrid has developed a program that removes this barrier and can result in a zero cost project through partnering with a corporate sponsor.

The first use of this model was accomplished through a partnership with the Missouri Botanical Garden and Express Scripts, and resulted in a very successful solar installation for the Garden, including a display in the lobby of the sited building.

Now Microgrid has taken this unique model and transformed it into a program that is available for use by other nonprofits. Please see our Solar Partnership Flyer for more information on this program.
