Marc Lopata, Principal with Microgrid, will be presenting at the USGBC St. Louis’s “Energy, Cost and Sustainability” event this August 17th. The session that Lopata is speaking has this summary:
Professionals from the building subcontracting industry will examine pros and cons of the various systems available, cost, and how they relate to Sustainability. An energy industry professional will then focus on the Business Case for Green Building, examining the cost issues related to a company’s decision to pursue LEED certification, building commissioning, and renewable energy. The seminar will conclude with a round table
discussion amongst the panel which will examine two specific and different building types to spur questions amongst all seminar attendees
